These Terms & Conditions apply to website design and development services provided by Sitewise Studio. By confirming a project with us, you agree to these terms.
Scope of work
The pages, features, timeline and price for each project are agreed in writing (email or WhatsApp) before work begins. Anything outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.
Our plans
- Student and Personal & Professional (one-time): a one-time fee for the website. Full source code and ownership are handed over after full payment. Updates after launch are not included unless you add a care plan.
- Personal & Professional (managed): a website build fee plus a care plan. We host and maintain the website and include 2 rounds of updates per year.
- Business (homestays, hotels, shops, commercial and e-commerce): a website build fee plus a care plan, which is standard for these websites. The care plan covers regular content updates, hosting and renewal management, backups, security checks and fixes.
Payment
- Website build: 50% advance payment is required to start the project, and the remaining 50% is due before the website goes live.
- Care plans are billed in advance for the period agreed in your quote (for example, yearly).
- The student discount requires a valid college ID.
Revisions
Two rounds of design revisions are included in every build. On one-time plans, changes after approval may be charged separately. On managed and Business plans, post-launch updates are covered by the care plan as described above.
Source code and ownership
On one-time plans, the complete source code, design files and ownership of the website are transferred to you after full payment. On managed and Business plans, we host and manage the code while your care plan is active. Your domain is always registered in your name. If you end a care plan, we hand over your website files once all dues are cleared. Until full payment is received, all work remains the property of Sitewise Studio.
What maintenance covers
Care plans cover reasonable updates to existing content and features (text, photos, prices, rooms, products, offers), keeping the site working, backups and renewals. New pages, new features or a redesign are quoted separately.
Your content
You provide the text, images, logos and other content for your website, and you are responsible for having the rights to use them. Sitewise Studio is not liable for any content you supply.
Domain and hosting
Domain names and hosting are third-party services. Their renewal fees (usually yearly) are paid directly to the provider. We can set them up in your name, but we are not responsible for the provider’s pricing, uptime or policies.
Timelines
Typical delivery is 5–10 working days depending on the number of pages. Timelines depend on receiving your content and feedback on time.
Portfolio use
Unless you ask us not to, we may show your finished website in our portfolio and social media.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or business interruption.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when your project is confirmed applies to that project.
